Brenda saved the day! My daughter’s maid of honor dress wouldn’t zip up, with about 3″ separation – panic of course! We went to see Brenda and she was so calm, and helped us become that way, and extremely talented! She took all the time needed with us, even though she had 20 dresses to be adjusted by the weekend! 2 days before my wedding the seamstress who said she would bustle my dress told me “I don’t feel like doing it”. I was in a panic. Luckily, I found Amazing Alterations. Brenda kept me calm and bustled my dress in less than 30 minutes, while I waited. Amazing Alterations and Brenda are the best!

I was trying to get a custom dress done by another local seamstress, and it just wasn’t working! We tried and tried and with only a month to go I finally panicked and called Amazing Alterations. Brenda worked with me in a very short space of time and completely remade the bottom of my dress. It turned out gorgeous! She really saved the day for me. 5 stars!

I heard of Brenda at Amazing Alterations through a friend. So I called Brenda and had a great conversation regarding my wedding dress. I felt like I had known her for years and then when I heard her prices I thought this has got to be too good to be true. The first evening I met Brenda, my sister and I went to meet her, my first thought is “She lives in Anoka, its atleast a 45 minute drive from Eagan, this better be worth it”. Another issue I was having was that I couldn’t find any beautiful jewelry or a veil for my big day. I was a mess. I was prepared for her to do an ok job on my dress, I mean for what she was charging and how nice she was I figured she is probably good but not that good, not to mention I am 8 months pregnant and she had to fix a dress that I was not at all pregnant when I bought it to fit a woman that has gained about 30lbs. Well, I picked up my dress today……OMG she is the best!!!! My dress fit perfectly, she added some beautiful bling to my dress to make it EXACTLY how I imagined, I also got the PERFECT veil and jewelry from her and on top of all of that she steamed my dress too. I swear this woman knew what I was thinking and knew how I wanted to look on my wedding day, which by the way she altered my dress in a week for my wedding that is in less than a week. I couldn’t have asked for anything better, Brenda went above and beyond the call of duty, not to mention she didn’t even realize until today that her friend had referred me so there was no special treatment for me being a friend of a friend. On top of making my day perfect, my sister had her bridesmaids dress altered as well and it fits perfectly now.

I took my favorite leather jacket to Brenda because the lining was ripped. She replaced the entire lining with a material that was even nicer than the original. Quality work, quality materials and great prices. My seamstress for life. Thanks Brenda.

I am planning my wedding from out of state and only had one weekend to pick up my gown from the Wedding Shoppe and have an initial meeting with a seamstress. I’m so happy I found Brenda! Not only was our first appointment comfortable and fun, but she worked hard over the weekend to present me with completed major alterations the very next day so I wouldn’t be worrying about them until I return to Minnesota in May.

I want to thank Brenda for her amazing work that she did on my wedding dress. My situation was very unique. I was a bride getting married in MN but I reside in Germany. I flew in two weeks before the wedding…

The only real issue with my dress was the bust that had to be adjusted. She took it in twice and it was still too big but to take it in anymore would mess up the line of the dress. So, she came up with another idea that looked beautiful.

The first time I was at Brenda’s I tried on my new earrings to go with my dress and of course I lost an earring back. To my amazement when we came back to pick up the dress she found the earring back. Brenda is awesome and if anyone that I know is getting married in MN I am sending them to her.

I heard about Brenda through a friend and I took my daughter’s flower girl dress to her to have the alterations done. She made us feel so comfortable; I immediately trusted her which relieved a lot of my stresses since the dress was for my wedding. I had taken my wedding dress for to another seamstress and when I got it back it still needed a couple of little “tweeks”. I took it to Brenda and she fixed it WHILE I was there picking up my daughter’s dress. Most of the other places I had been to or talked with told me it would take weeks to get my dress back! I brought my two wedding dresses in to Brenda needing them in a month’s time. I drove all the way up from Plymouth because I saw such rave reviews. My mom and I both met for the appointments and we loved Brenda! I needed all sorts of different things on both dresses- both needed to be shortened, one needed the straps shortened as well and a strap of bling added under the bust. I was wondering about adding straps to my reception dress and she made me a halter strap with leftover bling from the first dress! I also ended up buying some jewelry to wear too- which was very reasonable. I also got a hoop that was able to go under both dresses. With all of these included the price was still SO good! For someone who managed to buy both my dresses for under 800 I definitely wanted to keep a good price and she did just that. Such a nice lady and a cute office- my mom and I have both raved about her to everyone we know! I received great compliments on both and heard that a friend thought my reception gown was most beautiful wedding dress she’d seen and fit to the T! Thanks Brenda
